The Gateway Arch updates are nearly complete. Construction kicked off for the Arch and its surrounding grounds in 2013, and the project is scheduled to wrap up this summer. As the final unveiling nears, more Arch updates have been released to the public.
After being introduced in the U.S. Senate last summer, the name change of the region’s best-known national park is official. Jefferson National Expansion Memorial has officially been renamed the Gateway Arch National Park.
With the tagline See Differently, the new Gateway Arch logo offers a contemporary, multi-view perspective of the iconic monument. “As one of the most unique structure in the world, the Arch can be viewed and appreciated in so many ways,” said Bi-State Development senior director Dave Sanders in a statement. “This logo honors the many unique views the monument provides and ushers in a new era of re-imagined experiences for visitors to the Arch.” The redesign was spearheaded by St. Louis’ Dovetail agency.
