Looking for lunch? Starting Monday, Jan. 29 diners in Downtown St. Louis will have a new option—or rather, three new options under one roof.

The Eatery, a Downtown food hall at the newly-renovated One Metropolitan Square (or The Met, for short) at the corner of North Broadway and Olive Street, will feature three dining options, all of which are new or new to the neighborhood. This includes Dino’s Deli, a sub shop featured Mediterranean-inspired toasted sandwiches with three other greater-St. Louis locations; Kimcheese Asian Fusion, a combination of Korean, Mexican and American food with one other location in Chesterfield; and Arista Gourmet, a new spot for salads and flatbreads.

Announced in 2017, The Eatery was revamped through a $2.5 million renovation by JLL with designs by Nehring Design. The space has room for up to five restaurants, and JLL reports the organization is currently discussing options with two other restaurateurs.

Located on the ground floor of the expansive One Metropolitan Square office building, The Eatery is designed with the working lunch in mind. A plethora of seating options are available in the 9,628-square-foot space, from quick-service counters to cozy lounge chairs to expansive tables. Public WiFi, as well as ample outlets, are available for those who need to stay plugged in. Once the weather warms up, the 1,000-square-foot patio will open, which features more covered seating.

“We are excited to help create a platform that allowed for multiple new concepts to open in Downtown St. Louis,” says JLL’s Rick Spector, senior vice president of retail brokerage, in a statement. “Now workers from One Metropolitan Square and the surrounding area will get to experience the great food served by these unique restaurants.”

The Eatery opens at 10 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 29 and will be open from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. Monday through Friday.
