From its coworking spaces to its myriad of tech start-ups, Downtown St. Louis is known throughout the region as a hub for innovation—which, combined with the ample hotels and meeting space, makes it the logical location for the area’s premier IT conference, Gateway to Innovation. Now in its 12th year, the Gateway to Innovation conference (G2I) prepares for its next event and recently announced Mel Robbins as the 2018 closing keynote speaker.
Robbins is known as a best-selling author, speaker and CNN commentator. Her TEDx Talk, “How to Stop Screwing Yourself Over,” has more than 12.5 million views on YouTube and her book The 5 Second Rule: Transform your Life, Work, and Confidence with Everyday Courage is an Amazon Charts mainstay.
“Mel is the ideal speaker to wrap-up what’s shaping up to be the best G2I conference yet,” said Jill Rausch of WWT Asynchrony Labs, 2018 G2I conference co-chair, in a statement. “Her keynote promises to be incredibly entertaining, while giving people lessons and tools they can use immediately. That’s exactly what we strive for with each G2I.”
At the G2I conference, Robbins will discuss tips for overcoming the roadblocks of personal success. The event will be held at the America’s Center Convention Complex in Downtown St. Louis on May 16, 2018.
G2I proceeds are returned to the community, with more than $1.3 million supporting St. Louis-area technology needs through outlets like scholarships and STEM programs across its first 11 years. Registration for the 2018 event is now open.
